Use of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Efoyta. Users under 18 require parental consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share personal information of others without consent
  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Attempt to breach security or access unauthorized areas

Medical Disclaimer

Efoyta is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. While licensed psychologists are available on our platform, the service should not be used for medical emergencies.

If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical emergency, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

Peer Support Communities

Peer support groups are facilitated by non-professionals who share lived experiences. Advice given in these communities should not be considered professional medical advice.

Professional Services

Sessions with licensed psychologists are subject to their individual terms and professional standards. All psychologists on our platform are independently licensed professionals.

Payment and Refunds

Payment for professional services is processed securely through third-party providers. Refund policies are set by individual psychologists and communicated before booking.

Privacy and Confidentiality

While we use end-to-end encryption and maintain strict privacy standards, we cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality. Users should be aware that:

  • Other users in peer support groups can see your messages within those groups
  • We may be required to disclose information if legally compelled
  • In cases of imminent danger, we may contact emergency services

Limitation of Liability

Efoyta and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
